I'm a software engineer who has spent half of my career working with databases and distributed systems. As the author of the "Just Use Postgres" book, I spend most of my time educating developers and architects on how to use Postgres to its full extent. Earlier in my career, I worked at Sun Microsystems and Oracle, where I built the Java platform and led one of the Java development teams.
